24.3 Multicast Setting
Click Advanced Applications > Multicast > Multicast Setting link to display the screen as shown. See Section 24.1 on page 227 for more information on multicasting.

IGMP Snooping | Use these settings to configure IGMP Snooping. |

Active | Select Active to enable IGMP Snooping to forward group multicast |
| traffic only to ports that are members of that group. |

Querier | Select this option to allow the Switch to send IGMP General Query |
| messages to the VLANs with the multicast hosts attached. |

Host Timeout | Specify the time (from 1 to 16 711 450) in seconds that elapses before |
| the Switch removes an IGMP group membership entry if it does not |
| receive report messages from the port. |

802.1p Priority | Select a priority level |
| outgoing IGMP control packets. Otherwise, select |
| replace the priority. |
