32.6 Error-Disable Recovery Configuration

Use this screen to to configure the Switch to automatically undo an action after the error is gone. Click the Click Here link next to Errdisable Recovery in the Advanced Application > Errdisable screen to display the screen as shown.

DESCRIPTION

Active

Select this option to turn on the error-disable recovery function on the

 

Switch.

 

 

Reason

This field displays the supported features that allow the Switch to shut

 

down a port or discard packets on a port according to the feature

 

requirements and what action you configure.

Use this row to make the setting the same for all entries. Use this row

 

first and then make adjustments to each entry if necessary.

 

Note: Changes in this row are copied to all the entries as soon as you

 

make them.

 

 

Timer Status

Select this option to allow the Switch to wait for the specified time

 

interval to activate a port or allow specific packets on a port, after the

 

error was gone. Deselect this option to turn off this rule.

 

 

Interval

Enter the number of seconds (from 30 to 2592000) for the time interval.

 

 

Apply

Click Apply to save your changes to the Switch’s run-time memory. The

 

Switch loses these changes if it is turned off or loses power, so use the

 

Save link on the top navigation panel to save your changes to the non-

 

volatile memory when you are done configuring.

 

 

Cancel

Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh.
