Checkthe ratings of aii extension cords before you use them. Extensioncord sets used should be rated for 125Voit AC

loads at 20 Amps or greater for most electrical devices. Some devices,however, may not require this type of extension cord. Checkthe operator'smanuals of those devices for the manufacturer'srecommendations.

Keepextension cords as short as possible, preferably Iess than 15 feet iong, to prevent voltage drop and possible overheating of wires.
