SETTINGS FOR RS485 TERMINALS USE

If the VCR is going to be controlled trough a connection to the RS485 terminals, be sure to first make the settings below.

NOTES:

Can only be used with the optional RS-485 board.

When using the optional RS-485 board, the VCR can be controlled from a special controller.

1Press the MENU button until the (SET UP 6) menu is displayed.

°The “ADDRESS” setting is flashing.

2Press the l (or j) button to set the VCR address, then press the ] button.

5Press the l (or j) button to set the “STATUS INFO” setting, then press the ] button.

Y . . . . . . . . . . . The VCR status information (state information and warning state) are output at the RS485 terminal.

N. . . . . . . . . . . The state information is not output at the RS485 terminal. However, the warning state is output at the RS485 terminal.

6Press the l (or j) button to set the “ALARM INFO” setting.

Y . . . . . . . . . . . The VCR alarm information (alarm recording start and stop) and video loss information are output at the RS485 terminal.

N. . . . . . . . . . . The VCR alarm information (alarm recording start and stop) and video loss information are not output at the RS485 terminal.

NOTES:

The address can be set between 000 and 127.

Keep the button pressed and the setting will change rapidly.

NOTE:

The video loss information output (sent) will depend on the settings for “VIDEO LOSS” in the (SET UP 4) menu.
