PBX Access Digit

Specifies an outside line dispatch number

9 is the factory default setting.

 

Any number from 1–999 can be used.

 

 

 

 

Default Mode

Specifies whether the printer will be in Fax mode or Copy

Copy

mode following either of these two events:

 

 

Fax

The printer is turned on.

 

The Auto Clear setting times out.

 

Note: Copy is the factory default setting.

 

 

 

 

Auto Clear

Sets whether the printer automatically returns to the Default

Off

Mode setting after the set amount of time if no operation is

done during that time

Notes:

On (30 sec) is the factory default setting.

Off disables the Auto Clear function.

Power Saver

Sets the amount of time in minutes the printer waits after a job

Off

is printed before it goes into a reduced power state

Notes:

Wait 1–240min

On (30 min.) is the factory default setting.

 

 

Lower settings conserve more energy, but may require

 

 

longer warm-up times.

 

Select the lowest setting if the printer shares an electrical

 

 

circuit with room lighting or you notice lights flickering in

 

 

the room.

 

Select a high setting if the printer is in constant use. Under

 

 

most circumstances, this keeps the printer ready to print

 

 

with minimum warm-up time.

 

 

 

 

Display Language

Selects the language of the text appearing on the display

Sets the country or region where the printer is being used
