5.1.14.5D : Display Calibration Memory

If you enter <D> and a <CR> for “Display”, the contents of the Calibration Memory will be displayed, starting from address 0000. This memory contains 64k 8-bit words. They are displayed 320 at a time. To view the next 320, press <D> and <CR> again. To view the memory starting at an address other than 0000, press <D> followed immediately by the address. You do not need a <CR>. For example, “D20000”.

The calibration memory is used to sample and hold a scan line received from the cameras.

5.1.14.6 F : Fill Calibration Memory

If you choose <F> for “Fill”, enter the starting address, the ending address, and the two-bit hexadecimal value you wish to fill the memory, writing over anything already there. You do not need to enter <CR>. For example, “D1000,2000,DE”.

Press <T> for “Take Line” to place a line from the cameras into the calibration memory.

Press <H> for “Create Histogram” to view a histogram of the pixel values resulting from the Take Line command. It will show the pixel values and how may of each value were detected.

Press <R> for “Camera Response curve” to view a plot of the pixel value versus its position along the camera after the execution of the take line command. When you press <R>, you will be prompted to choose a specific camera. To return to the Calibration Memory Menu, enter nothing and press <CR> or hit the space bar.

5.1.14.7 T : Take Line

This function puts a line of data from the cameras into the calibration memory for viewing. If you choose <T> for “Take Line”, the beginning of the line will appear in a 20 by 16 display. The <D> command ( display calibration memory ) may be used to examine the remainder of the line. The pixel data placed in the memory includes the dummy pixels at the beginning and end of each camera. There are 5392 ( 1510 hex ) pixels per camera.
