Important Safety Information

When using telephone equipment, including the ooma Hub™ and ooma Scout™ devices, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons, including the following:

Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.

Avoid using this product during an electrical storm. There may be a remote risk of electric shock from lightning.

Use only the power adapter indicated in this manual. Do not insert the power adapter into an extension cord, receptacle or outlet unless the prongs can be fully inserted.

To prevent overheating, situate the product away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other products that produce heat.

Do not remove the cover of or disassemble any component of this product. This product contains no user-serviceable parts.
