About Operation Modes
The DR-5060F is provided with three operation modes: the Backup mode, Scanner Only mode and Filmer Only mode. The Backup mode is for backing up images to microfilm as the document is being scanned. The Scanner Only mode is for using the DR-5060F exclusively as a scanner and not to photograph document images to microfilm. The Filmer Only mode is for using the DR-5060F exclusively as a rotary filmer. You can check and change the operation mode by Backup key. The DR-5060F also has a Count Only mode for just counting the number of sheets in the document without scanning them.
Checking the Operation Mode
You can check and set the scanner’s operation mode by the Backup and Count Only keys on the operation panel.
