Load up to 30 pages at a time, face down, into the document feeder. The first page is automatically drawn a little way into the feeder.
Display shows SELECT LOC/COPY.
Do not try to send or copy documents which are:
•still wet with ink or correcting fluid
•very thick or very thin (for best results, paper should be 80gsm)
•stapled or clipped together
•torn, folded, crumpled or with punched holes
•on carbon paper or glossy paper.
When adjusting the settings, if you do not touch any buttons for more than 1 minute, your BF900 will automatically return to standby.
In the display, RX=receive, TX=send.
START
•Load the document.
•Set the TYPE ORG, RESOLUTION and PHOTO settings if necessary. (See page 27.)
•Dial the fax number you want on the BF900 keypad.
•Press the START button. The document is scanned. Display shows MEMORY TX. SCANNING MXX. You can now retrieve your original document.
•The fax number is dialled. Display shows CALLING. When the call is answered, the display shows FAX CONNECTION.
TRANSMITTING.
•While the fax is being transmitted, the display alternates between the number of pages being sent and the fax number you have dialled.
•After the last page has been completed, if the call is successful display shows TX=OK.
