Using the BF900

Speed dialling

You can store up to 100 numbers in the speed dial directory. (See page 23 on how to store speed dial numbers.)

SPEED-DIAL FUNCTION

Load the document.

Set the TYPE ORG, RESOLUTION and PHOTO settings if necessary.

Press the SPEED DIAL button.

Enter the 3-digit code (001-100) for the number you want to dial.

Press the ENTER button. The document is scanned and the number is dialled automatically.

Group dialling

You can have eight of the one-touch buttons as group dial buttons. These are buttons 25-32. Each of these buttons can hold up to 40 fax numbers, enabling you to send a fax to all of them just by pressing a single button. (See page 24 on how to store group dialling numbers.)

Load the document.

Set the TYPE ORG, RESOLUTION and PHOTO settings if necessary.

Press the ONE-TOUCHbutton you want which has been assigned as a group dial button.

The document is scanned and all the numbers in the group are dialled automatically in turn.

To set up a batch dial

You can set the ONE-TOUCH buttons to send faxes automatically at a pre-set time every day. This can be useful if you want to send faxes at times when call charges are lower or if you are faxing abroad to coincide with the other person’s office hours.

The one-touch buttons you select must have phone numbers stored already.

Use the keypad to set the time you want to start faxing.

Press the ENTER button to confirm. Display shows START TIME=XX:XX, DATA ENTRY OK and then BATCH TX. PRESS OT KEY.

You can now enter another one-touch button to set another batch dial, or press STOP to return to standby.
