Cleaning the outside

Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the outside of your BF900.

Warning

Always turn the mains power off before opening the front cover

Cleaning the document feeder and scanner

Use a soft damp cloth. You can add a little mild soap or detergent if necessary.

• Lift open the control panel.

• Gently wipe the glass of the scanner.

Cleaning the fax interior

Use a soft DRY cloth for cleaning the fax interior.

Warning

Parts inside the fax machine can get very hot. Switch off the mains power and wait for at least 10 minutes before attempting to clean the inside. Check that the fusing unit has cooled down before cleaning.

•Rotate the document feeder tray roller by hand and wipe it with the cloth.

•Press the cover release button and open the front cover of your BF900
