Integration of the ATV312 in a PROFIBUS DP network controlled by a Modicon TSX P57 354M

The following chapter describes how to integrate an ATV 312 equipped with a VW3 A312 07 option module on a PROFIBUS DP based configuration.

Configuration of the communication

With Unity, cyclic exchanges between the PROFIBUS DP master (TSX Premium PLC + TSX PBY100 module) and the Altivar 312 take the form of input words %IWxy.0.k and output words %QWxy.0.k, where "x" = number of the PLC rack and "y" = location of the PROFIBUS DP module in the PLC rack.

Project configuration

The TSX Modicon PLCs can be used as PROFIBUS DP Master Device in association with the PBY 100 Profibus card.
