Network/DDNS Settings

DDNS can be used. Establish DDNS server connection.

1 Click "Network Settings" in the Admin. Menu.

The sub menu for network setting will appear.

2 Click "2. DDNS" in the sub menu.

A setup screen of "Network / DDNS Settings" will appear.

3 Configure each setting items.

1)Set ON or OFF for "DDNS use."

ON: Use DDNS.

OFF: Do not use DDNS.

2)When using DDNS, be sure to register with DDNS provider. Enter "DDNS Server", "User ID", "Password" and "Password (confirm)".

Click the Save button to save settings.

The settings will not be reflected unless the Save button is clicked.

NOTE

Enter only 6 to 12 lower-case alphanumeric characters as an User ID.

Maximum of 16 characters can be used in "User ID," "Password" and "Password (confirm)"::

. (dot), - (hyphen), @, 0 - 9, a to z and A to Z

You cannot use these characters: ' "

Be sure that the DDNS server information is entered correctly. (See "Network/ Basic Setting" on page 86)

Network / FTP Server Settings

The network camera can be set as an FTP server for connection from a personal computer or other terminal.

1 Click "Network Settings" in the Admin. Menu.

The sub menu for network setting will appear.

2 Click "3. FTP Server" in the sub menu.

A setup screen of "Network / FTP Server Settings" will appear.

3 Configure each setting items.

1)Set ON or OFF for "FTP function." ON: Used as an FTP server. OFF: Not used as an FTP server.

2)When using as an "FTP server," enter the user name in "Login ID" and the password in "Password." Enter the same password in "Password (confirm)". Choose the maximum number of connections in the pull-down menu in "Maximum number of simultaneous connections."

Click the Save button to save the settings.

The settings will not be reflected unless the Save button is clicked.

NOTE

Maximum of 16 following characters can be used in "Login ID", "Password" and "Password (confirm)":

. (dot), - (hyphen), @, 0 - 9, a to z and A to Z

Only the contents of the SD memory card can be viewed when the network camera is logged in by FTP. Therefore, the network camera cannot be logged in by FTP even though the FTP function is set to ON in case an SD memory card is not inserted.
