System Menu Operation (continued)

P.T.M. (Personal Text Message)

You can enter a personal text message as follows:

1.With the “P.T.M” menu on the screen, press the MENU button (30) to access the “ROW1” field.

2.Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to enter a name using A-Z, a-z, 1-0, etc.

3.	Use the left ( ) or right ( ) joystick buttons to move to the next or previous entry space.
4.	After entering information for “ROW1”, continue pressing the right ( ) joystick button to
	move to “ROW2”.
5.	Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to enter a name using A-Z, a-z, 1-0, etc.
6.	Press the MENU button (30) to confirm.

The system will show a Personal Text Message on the LCD under the following conditions:

•When the ignition is on but the radio power is off during Stand by LCD mode, if set to P.T.M.

• During Screen Saver mode, if set to P.T.M.

NOTE: When applicable, the P.T.M. will be replaced by “Happy Birthday”, “Merry

Christmas”, or “Happy New Year”.

Contrast

Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to adjust the display contrast level from “00” to “12”.

Key Color (Button Illumination)

Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to adjust the key color between color 1 (blue) or color 2 (red).

LCD Color

Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to adjust the LCD (display) color between color 1 (blue), 2 (red), or 3 (pink).

LCD Mode

Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to adjust the LCD (display) mode between “Normal” (positive display) or “Reverse” (negative display).

Dimmer

Use the up (+) or down (-) joystick buttons to adjust the Dimmer level between “High” or “Low”.
