SDK

Press the button. n “SDK” appears on the display.

The unit searches for a traffic information station.

When the station is tuned in, “SK” appears.

When a traffic announcement starts n

“SDK” flashes.

The reception of the traffic announcement overrides the current radio broadcast or tape playback. When the announcement is over, the interrupted radio reception or tape playback is resumed.

To stop receiving the traffic announcements, press the SDK button again.

∙Whilethestationisbroadcastingatrafficannouncement (with“SDK”flashing),theSEEK/AMS/MANU,FM/ AM/A.MEMandpresetnumberbuttonsarenot operational.

∙DuringAM reception,theSDKfunctiondoesnotwork; if you press the SDK button, the unit automatically switches to FM I.

Presetting the volume of traffic announcements

You can preset the volume level of the traffic announcements beforehand so you won’t miss the announcement. When a traffic announcement starts, the volume is automatically adjusted to the preset level.

1 Select the desired volume level.

SDK

2 Press the button for two seconds when “SDK” lights up.

“SDK” flashes and the setting is stored.
