Freedom Sequence Operational Concepts
Priority Swapping Between Circuits
The Freedom Sequence power manager allows the user to change the prioritization of the AC load circuits. A typical instance would be when an RV is used in a warm climate, the air conditioner would have a higher priority than the space heater or engine block heater. Conversely, in cold climates, the space heater or engine block heater needs to have priority over the air conditioner. The power manager allows changing priority of an AC load circuit through the Config screen of the SCP (“Circuit Priority” on page 17) or through the Circuit Level Advanced Settings screen (“Priority” on page 31). The power manager adjusts the priority settings for the rest of the circuits automatically based on the new priority number that was assigned to an AC load circuit.
For example (see illustration), if the priority of Engine Block Heater is changed from 4 to 1, the power manager will assign the Engine Block Heater its new priority rank of 1 and automatically swap and adjust priority settings for the rest of the circuits.
IMPORTANT: When reprogramming default circuit priority settings, always consult a professional installer from your RV dealership.
