AT THE HANDSET

About Softkeys

This telephone has been designed with your convenience in mind, offering you many features which you can access using the two “softkeys” shown in the illustration. By pressing the softkey below the operation indicated on the display screen, you select that operation.

Press the softkey to select the operation displayed on the bottom left or right of the screen.

Making a Call

1Press Pon the handset (the PHONE light goes on).

2When you hear a dial tone, dial the number.

Answering a Call

Press P. The PHONE light goes on and the call is connected.

NOTE: Although ringing stops when you answer, you might not be able to hear the other party until the PHONE light goes on steadily.

Ending a Call

Press Pon the handset

Place the handset in the base.

Handset Volume

The handset volume can be set to three different levels. Each time you press Von the handset, the level of what you hear through the handset changes. Changing this setting does not affect what the other party hears.
