CONFIGURING THE IP PHONE
This chapter shows you how to configure the IP phone by keypad, web browser and
telnet. It also tells you the meanings of the items you might encounter in the setting
process.
A. Using the Keypad to Configure the IP phone
Function Keys Introduction: While using keypad and LCD to configure the setting of IP phone, following keys will be used:

Enter setting mode:
Without picking up the handset, enter the password of the IP phone by pressing the number buttons (default password is 1234), and then press , hold the button

Configure the Network Settings
What if your network is using DHCP Addressing?
The IP Phone is set at the factory for DHCP IP addressing. If your LAN or router uses DHCP addressing, follow the DHCP procedure in the flow chart below. If you are using Static IP addresses, follow the Static IP Address Procedure.
(As the IP Phone is preset as DHCP mode, if you use DHCP addressing, no changes is needed)
