Induction Cooktop

Power sharing

Four burner cooktops are divided into two

separate heating zones. The right and left side

cooking zones are powered by separate and

independent induction generators. One generator

controls 2 elements, or two cooking zones within

a heating section share the power of one

generator.

Five burner cooktops are divided into 3 zones.

The right and left side have separate cooking

zones and the large center element is another

separate cooking zone.

Power Sharing is activated when both elements

in the same cooking zone are activated and one

element is set for Boost (H). The element that is

induction generators.

not set for Boost will change to a lower power

level. This is called Power Sharing. When Boost

operation is complete (10 minutes), the other

element may be reset to any power level. Both

elements can operate simultaneously at normal

power level settings of “L” to 9.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FOUR BURNER

MODELS:

The elements on the right side share one

generator. Both elements can operate at any

non-Boost (level L to 9) power level at the same

time. If the large front element is set for “H” or

5 burner cooktops with right, left and center (3)

Boost, the smaller element at the right rear will

be deactivated or turned off automatically. The

induction generators.

smaller right rear element can be activated and

set for any power level after the Boost operation

of the larger element is completed (10 minutes).

low setting

The pan size should match the indicator ring.

2 Touch the ON/OFF pad. “5” will flash in the display.

3 Touch the (-)pad until the display reads “L.” A

sound will beep.

Do not use plastic wrap to cover food. Plastic may

melt onto the surface and be very difficult to remove.

Use only cookware recommended for this cooktop.

CAUTION: Do not warm food on the “L”

The Low setting will keep hot, cooked food at serving

power level for more than two hours.

temperature. Always start with hot food. Do not use

to heat cold food.

Placing uncooked or cold food on surface element

set for Low could result in food-borne illness.

For best results, all food set for Low should be

covered with a lid or aluminum foil. Pastries or breads

should be vented to allow moisture to escape.

Always use pot holders or oven mitts when removing

food from the element set for Low as cookware and

plates will be hot.

ZHU30, ZHU36 specifications

The GE ZHU36 and ZHU30 are part of General Electric's extensive range of locomotive models that cater to various operational requirements in freight and passenger transportation. These locomotives symbolize innovation in rail technology and efficiency, making them essential components of contemporary rail systems.

Starting with the GE ZHU36, this model is well-known for its impressive power output, typically around 3,600 horsepower. It is engineered to operate effectively on both passenger and freight services, showcasing its versatility. One distinct feature of the ZHU36 is its advanced traction control system, which enhances traction and provides better performance on diverse track conditions. This technology ensures that the locomotive can handle challenging gradients and adverse weather conditions, making it suitable for regions with varying geographies.

In addition to its robust power, the ZHU36 employs an environmentally conscious approach, adhering to strict emissions regulations. It utilizes low-emission engines that reduce the carbon footprint associated with locomotive operations. Coupled with a sophisticated braking system, it guarantees safe and efficient stopping capabilities, enhancing overall operational safety.

On the other hand, the GE ZHU30 serves as a lighter alternative, typically generating around 3,000 horsepower. This locomotive is particularly effective for medium-haul freight services, where flexibility is paramount. The ZHU30 features similar traction control technology as its counterpart, optimized for its lighter design, which allows for efficient fuel consumption without compromising on performance.

Both models are equipped with advanced diagnostic systems that provide real-time data about their operational status. This technology enables operators to monitor performance metrics, identify potential issues, and optimize maintenance schedules, thereby reducing downtime and enhancing productivity.

The ZHU locomotives are built with modularity in mind, allowing for various configurations to suit different rail operations. They are designed for ease of maintenance, featuring accessible components that minimize service time and labor costs. This adaptability and focus on maintainability underscore GE's commitment to providing reliable and efficient rail solutions.

In summary, the GE ZHU36 and ZHU30 bring advanced technologies and powerful performance to the rail industry. Their combination of eco-friendly features, robust capabilities, and easy maintenance positions them as leading options for operators seeking to enhance their rail services in a competitive landscape.
