The microwave oven automatically divides the time set for the Quick Defrost cycle into three parts:

This automatic step-down in Cook Power helps defrost food quickly and completely.

At the end of the Quick Defrost cycle check the food with a long-timed fork. If the center is hard frozen, set additional time using 20% Cook Power.
