Obtaining Technical AssistanceYou can receive assistance for installing and troubleshooting an ATM
Backbone SwitchModule by calling either y our 3Com reseller or 3Com
network supplier. Be prepared to supply a representative with the
following information:
■Description of the problem
■Steps you have taken to try and correct the problem
■Type and software version of the CoreBuilder 5000 management
module being used
■Version of software installed on your ATM Backbone SwitchModule,
Ethernet or FDDI SwitchModule, and DMM
■Status of the front panel LEDs
■Configuration of your hub. (You may find it helpful to refer to th e
Slot Usage Chart shipped with the CoreBuilder 5000 Integrated
System Hub Installation and Operation Guide for a record of this
information.)
