CATEGORY AND NUMBER INPUT SELECTION
The user selects a switcher input by first pressing the desired input category keypad push button. The display menu line will
be cleared and the category name will appear (see Figure 6−8).

CAT=VTR SELECT=????The operator then enters the selection number for the desired input; the display will show the primary mnemonic for the input
after the word “Select.” Additional detail is given on the bottom row, which shows the input mnemonics for the sources
selected on up to four levels. See Figure 6−9. (The appearance and position of each level’s status information is determined
by the CP Level set assigned to the panel).

Note: If the category entry is ignored, or if the bottom display row stays blank after the selection number is entered,
the category / selection number may not be defined in the CP Input Set (page 5−62) assigned to the panel on the
MPK Devices table (page 5−107).
When TAKE is pressed the command is sent to the switcher matrix. If the TAKE command was successful, the top display
row will be updated to reflect the new input status.
