Parameter | Description |

driveid… | Specifies a list of one through 64 candidate |
| drives to reserve (lock) for exclusive use. |
|
|
Specifies the name of a drive pool. | |
| • Valid drive pool names may contain up to |
| 16 alphanumeric characters, including |
| spaces. |
| • Leading and trailing spaces are not |
| permitted. |
|
|
Specifies a list of one through 64 drives | |
| contained in the specified drive pool that are |
| NOT reserved for exclusive use. |
|
|
Specifies the number of drives to be locked. | |
| • If the |
| the number of drives to be locked defaults |
| to 1. |
|
|
Command options are first read from the | |
| command line. VolServ then reads any |
| options contained in the stdin file. |
