Specifications and Regulatory Information

This chapter lists specification and characteristics of the instrument. The dis- tinction between these terms is described as follows:

•Specifications describe warranted performance over the temperature range 0°C to +55°C and relative humidity <95% (unless otherwise noted).

All specifications apply after the instrument’s temperature has been sta- bilized after 15 minutes of continuous operation.

•Characteristics provide useful information by giving functional, but nonwarranted, performance parameters. Characteristics are printed in italics.

Calibration Cycle

This instrument requires periodic verification of performance. The instrument should have a complete verification of specifications once every two years.

For WLIMitOFF, searching starts at 1650 nm and progresses towards 1270 nm. For WLIMitON, searching starts at WLIMitSTART and progresses toward WLIMitSTOP. These peak values are then placed into the corrected data buffer. Each peak value consists of an amplitude and wavelength measurement.
