5Preventive Maintenance

Instrument Removal

NOTE	Detailed information related to rack mounting can be obtained in the
	Agilent N8200A Series Synthetic Instrument Modules, Rack Configuration Guide,
	N8200-90003.
	To remove an instrument from the system, use one of the following procedures.
	Required tools
	•	#2 Phillips screwdriver
	•	#2 POZIDRIV screwdriver

Standard instrument

To remove an instrument from a rack

instrument’s rack “ears” that hold it in the
rack.

4Slide the instrument out.

•If you feel any resistance when attempting to pull the instrument out, STOP! Look inside the cabinet and carefully examine all surrounding cables. Make sure all cables are fully disconnected.
