Port Monitoring Commands

set-mon-port

This command sets the monitoring port (port containing the

monitoring device, sniffer port). All tr afﬁc from the port speciﬁed by

the monitor command will be duplicated on assigned ports. Port is a

decimal number.

set-mon-port <port>

monitor

This command sets the port to be monitored and starts the

monitoring process. All trafﬁc from this port will be duplicated on the

monitoring port speciﬁed by the set-mon-port command. The

monitoring device or sniffer must be connected to the monitoring

port before monitoring is activated.

monitor <port>

stop-mon

This command ends port monitoring.

get-nv-mon

This command retrieves the port monitoring information stored by

the save-mon command in the NVRAM.
