Installation

Theses teps describe procedures for installing and configuring the Alti-IP

600locally — through manual setup or plug and play. To install and

configure thep hone remotely, refer to “Remote Installation” on page 15.

Manual Setup

Tomanually set up the Alti-IP 600 phone, perform the following steps:

1. Network Setup

Findout the settings for the following (this information w ill ben eeded

laterto configure the Alti-IP 600):

•AltiWare Server IP Address

•DHCP -if DHCP is not used, obtain the Alti-IP 600 phone’s IP

addressfrom the System Administrator.

•GatekeeperAuto Discovery- ifgatekeeper auto discover i s not

used, obtain the AltiWare IP address.

•Firewall- R efer to “Firewall Considerations” on page 36.

2. AltiAdmin/ACM Admin Setup - AltiGen IP Phone Configuration

Window

Toconfigure the Alti-IP 600 phone with AltiAdmin/ACM Admin,

selectAltiGen IP Phone Configuration from the Management

menu.
