18Route the cable over the top of the PC Compatibility Card, behind the processor card, and around the back of the Macintosh logic board. Then plug the cable into the audio connector on the logic board.

Be sure you route the cable between the processor card and the back panel (not over the top of the processor card).

Keep the cable away from the heat sink and center support post.

Insert the cable’s larger plug into the CD audio connector on the logic board, where you unplugged the ribbon cable in step 15.

Route the cable around the back of the computer’s interior as shown.
