10In the Network window, click Add.

11From the list of available components, select Protocol; then click Add.

12In the window that appears, choose Microsoft from the list of manufacturers. Then choose TCP/IP from the list of network protocols.

13Click OK to return to the Network window.

14Double-click TCP/IP in the list of installed network components.

15In the window that appears, configure the TCP/IP stack by filling in the appropriate information. When you are finished, click OK.

16Follow the instructions on the screen to finish the installation, and then restart Windows 95.

Making a PPP connection

1In Windows 95, click Start, choose Programs, choose Accessories, and then choose Dial-Up Networking from the menu that appears.

2Double-click Make New Connection.

3Follow the instructions on screen to finish the procedure.
