Check that the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS files contain the following lines:

AUTOEXEC.BAT (for Windows)

SET MIDI=SYNTH:1 MAP:E

C:\VIBRA16\DIAGNOSE /S

C:\VIBRA16\MIXERSET.EXE /P /Q

CONFIG.SYS (for Windows 95 or Windows)

DEVICE=C:\VIBRA16\DRV\VIBRA16.SYS /UNIT=0 /BLASTER=A:220 I:5 D:1 H:5

CD sound went away when I switched environments.

If you are playing an audio CD when you start the PC and switch environments, there is a delay in the sound while the PC completes some system configuration tasks.

Check that the CONFIG.SYS file contains this line:

DEVICEHIGH=C:\APPLE\CDROM.SYS/D:CDDRVR

Check that the AUTOEXEC.BAT file contains this line:

For Windows 95:

LOADHIGH C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\MSCDEX.EXE /D:CDDRVR /L:E

For Windows:

LOADHIGH C:\DOS\MSCDEX.EXE /D:CDDRVR /L:E
