Tools

This procedure requires the following tools:

• Torx T8 screwdriver (magnetized)

• 5 mm socket wrench

• Black stick (or other nonconductive nylon or plastic flat-blade tool)

Preliminary Steps

Before you begin, remove the following:

• Battery

• PC card cage

• Heatsink

Note: Replacing the RJ-11 port and wire requires removing the hard drive.
