• #0 Phillips screwdriver

• Torx T8 screwdriver

• Black stick (or other nonconductive nylon or plastic flat-blade tool)

Part Location

Computers with the backlit keyboard conﬁguration, only, have a left and a right ambient

light sensor installed.

Preliminary Steps

Before you begin, remove the following:
