Setting the Age Out Timer

To set the MAC Forwarding Table’s Age-out Timer:

Open the MAC Forwarding Table Menu by typing f on the Configuration Menu.

Type s to set the timer.

Enter the number of seconds you want the addresses to remain in the table.

Δ Note: The default is 300 seconds.

4 Press Return.

The MAC Forwarding Table’s Age-out Timer is configured.
