ISDN 7506 Display Terminal

ISDN 7507 Display Terminal

The 7507 Display terminal is used with the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) communi- cation system through a 4-wire ‘‘T’’-interface. The modular 7507 is a voice terminal when equipped with a Voice Only Module (VOM). As a telephone it offers programmable buttons, fixed feature buttons, Message light, touch-tone dialing, and a built-in, programmable speakerphone or SPOKESMAN loudspeaker. The speakerphone can be programmed at the terminal by the user for one of three states: On, Disabled, and SPOKESMAN loudspeaker. The 7507 can be equipped with an optional Asynchronous Data Module (ADM) that provides the user with simul- taneous voice and data capabilities. The 7507 equipped with the ADM offers the same voice capabilities as the 7507 equipped with the VOM, plus it allows attached data terminals or per- sonal computers to send and receive data through the digital network. The terminal is equipped with a 2-line, 40-character display.

Note: The 7507 voice terminal is no longer being manufactured.

Applications

The 7507 display terminal can be used with the DEFINITY G1, G2, and G3. Typical applications of the display terminal are users requiring a large number of line appearances with or without data capabilities. It is particularly useful for secretary/receptionist positions and executives.
