2 Installing Your System
Overview
This chapter explains how to install the PARTNER Advanced Communications System (ACS) Release 7.0.
The installation of the PARTNER ACS involves the following:
•Evaluating the environmental requirements
•Installing the control unit
•Connecting lines and extensions
•Connecting the loudspeaker paging system (if used))
•Installing telephones
•Connecting auxiliary equipment
•Installing the cover
If your company already has modular jacks for all outside lines and extensions, you may be able to use the existing wiring to install the system hardware and connect telephones to the system yourself.
