Check the Archive checkbox to copy the disc to the hard disk. Unarchiving

 

 

a disc causes it to go back to the global setting mode.

This checkbox only appears if there is a hard disk connected to the

 

 

 

StorPoint CD.

 

Properties

Click the Properties icon to display the Properties dialog box where you

 

 

 

can set properties such as sharing options, user limits and access rights. Click

 

 

 

to set the access rights for the root or the volumes folder. Click

set the access rights for the disc.

 

Eject

Click

to eject a disc. Note that the disc will be ejected even if the disc is

 

 

in use or the drive is locked. However, a message will be displayed if you try

 

 

to eject a disc that is currently in use.

 

Note:

This function does not apply to changers.

 

Description

Add a text describing the disc contents in the Properties dialog box. Display

 

 

this dialog box by clicking the Properties icon.

 

The Drives View

 

Automatic archiving is managed from the Drives view.

 

SCSI Server - the Drive column lists all the drives by SCSI ID. In case of a Dual SCSI server, A or B will be displayed to indicate which bus the drive is connected to. If a LUN based device like a changer is attached, the LUN will also be displayed. “A-6-0” indicates SCSI ID 6, LUN ID 0 on bus A.
