If you have connected a CD-Recordable drive to your StorPoint CD, users can copy data to recordable discs, such as CD-R and CD-RW discs. To limit the number of users, this function can be protected by password.

This section outlines the procedures for using recordable discs with your

StorPoint CD.

Notes: ❏ The Basic versions of the StorPoint CD do not support writing to recordable discs.

❏If you experience problems with writing data to a disc, see “Errors when Writing Data to a Disc ” on page 136.

Copying Files to Recordable Discs

Follow these steps:

1.Insert a CD-R or CD-RW disc into the CD-Recordable drive.

2.Start the Web browser and enter the IP address of your StorPoint CD in the location/address field.

The StorPoint CD File View page is displayed.

If you have a CD-Recordable drive connected to your StorPoint CD, the

Recordable Discs button appears in the main menu.
