ENGINE WILL NOT START

ENGINE WILL NOT START

Starter motor does not turn the engine

No spark from spark plug

Incorrect fuel supply

Discharged battery

No contact on starter relay

Starter motor and/or cable connection defective

Heavily burnt electrodes

Bad ignition cable connection

Spark plug short circuited

Defective ignition coil

Fuel tank empty

Fuel stop valve does not open

No fuel to the carburettor

No fuel from the carburettor (Spark plug dry)

Charge battery

Change battery

No current to relay

Relay defective

Change relay

Check connections

Change starter motor

Adjust electrode gap or replace spark plug

Change the spark plug cap

Replace the spark plug

Change the ignition coil

Fill with fuel

No current to the valve or the solenoid is defective

Channel from the fuel stop valve blocked

Fuel filter blocked

Tank ventilator blocked

Fuel pump defective

Fuel pipes blocked or pinched

Needles and diffuser jets blocked

Bad contact on battery poles

Blown fuse

Bad or no earth contact

Defective ignition switch

Microswitch on the cutting equipment’s lifting lever defective or in wrong position

Defective microswitch under seat

Microswitches by gear lever, hydraulic pedal defective or in wrong position (neutral pos)

Check cable connections or replace the valve

Clean the channel with compressed air

Change the filter.

Clean or replace the fuel cap

Broken pump diaphragm

Impulse channel blocked

Clean or replace the pipes

Clean the carburettor with compressed air

Clean and lubricate with copper paste

Change the fuse

Localise fault

Clean, lubricate with copper paste. Tighten the earth cable

Check cable connections or replace the switch

Check cable connections or replace the switch

Adjust the setting

Check cable connections or replace the switch

Check cable connections or replace the switch

Adjust the setting

Change the diaphragm

Clean the channel with compressed air
