Remote IndoorTemperature Sensor
A remote temperaturesensor may be used with the programmableheat pump
and programmable air conditioner thermostats where it is desirable to install the
thermostat in a limited access location while measuring the temperature in the
living space. The remote room sensor may be used as a stand alone or average
with local sensor.
Two--Piece ThermostatConfiguration
The Preferred Series AC/HP Control can be installed in one of two
configurations.The control may be installed as a single--piece thermostator it
mayb esp litin to two pieces and mountedin separate locations.As a single--piece
unit,all required wiring must be brought to the EquipmentControl Module for
connectionto the terminalstrip. In two--piececonfiguration,the Display Module
canbe mounted in the living spacewhile the Equipment Control Module may be
mountednear the indoor furnaceor fan coil. Connection fromthe display to the
EquipmentControl Module requires onlytwo wires. All other controlwires are
connectedto the Equipment Control Module from the HVAC equipment.This
configurationresults in a slimmer displayand locates the Equipment Control
Modulecontaining the switching relaysaway from the main living space where
relayclicking will not be heard.
