12 Enter your name
You can have your name printed at the very
top of each fax you send. The name can be up
to 20 characters long.
• Press the FUNCTION button. Display shows
FUNCTION MODE 0~9,#,*,<,>.
• Press 9(or the buttons) to display
PROG USER DATA 0~9,#,*,>, ENTER.
• Press the ENTER button. Display shows
PROG USER DATA 1-6, <,>.
• Press 2(or the arrows) to display
YOUR NAME 1-6 ENTER.
• Press the ENTER button. Display shows –
A-Z *, ENTER.
• Use the alphabet letters on the one-touch
buttons to enter your name. To enter a space
or delete a letter, press the One-Touch
button 31.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm. Display
shows YOUR NAME DATA ENTRY OKto
confirm the entry and then returns to PROG
USER DATA 1-6,<, > allowing you to enter
other user information.
• Press the STOP button to return to standby.
13 Setting the date and time
You can have the date and time, printed at the
very top of each fax you send. The name can
be up to 20 characters long. The time is set
using the 24-hour clock.
• Press the FUNCTION button. Display shows
FUNCTION MODE 0~9,#,*,<,>.
• Press 9(or the buttons) to display
PROG USER DATA 0~9,#,*,>, ENTER.
• Press the ENTER button. Display shows
PROG USER DATA 1-6, <,>.
• Press 3(or the arrows) to display
SET DATE/TIME 1-6 ENTER.
• Press the ENTER button. Display shows
01.01.90 00:00 PRESS ENTER.
• Use the keypad to enter the date and time.
You can also move the cursor by pressing
the <and >buttons.
• Press the ENTER button to confirm. Display
shows your new date and time setting and
DATA ENTRY OK and then PROG USER DATA
1-6,<, > allowing you to enter other user
information.
• Press the STOP button to return to standby.
