• Remove the rear lens cap and the body cap by turning them as shown by the arrow.

2Attach the lens.

• Align the red dots on the lens and camera and turn the lens as shown

Red dots	by the arrow until it snaps in place.

	On the lens, set the focus mode
	3 switch to AF.

•If the focus mode switch is set to MF (or M on older lenses), autofocus will not operate.

4Remove the front lens cap.

	2	While pressing the lens release
	2	button, turn the lens as shown by

• Be careful not to lose the lens caps and body cap.
