Setting the Remote Device Transmission Timeout

A remote copy job is cancelled if there is no response from the remote copy printer within a given time. Select a timeout setting from 5 to 30 seconds in 1-second increments.

NOTE

Jobs that reach the timeout limit (without arriving at the remote copy printer) are deleted.

The default timeout setting is ‘30 seconds.’

1Call up the desired screen as follows:

[Copy Settings] [] [Remote Device Transmission Timeout]

2Use [–] and [+] to set the Remote Device Transmission Timeout, and press [OK].

You can also enter values using - (numeric keys).

The specified mode is set.

3 Press [Done] repeatedly until the Basic Features screen appears.
