1.Provides management communication with the CDSM.

2.Normally configured with 12 full-duplex Gigabit Ethernet (GE) interfaces, each used to deliver up to 250 simultaneous streams and to receive new content from the CDE200 or CDE400.

3.Each drive contains 300 or 400 GB of storage. Each CDE400 can therefore contain up to 2400 hours of standard definition content (3840 hours on a 400-GB drive), including storage of information to support trick play.

4.Six Ethernet interfaces for content movement, an interface for ingest, and an interface for system management.

Control Buttons

Figure 1-9shows the CDE100 front panel, and describes the front panel control buttons.

Power

Powers up the device.

Reset

Resets the device and runs the power-on self-test (POST).

CD eject

Opens the CD drive tray.

 

 

 

Note You may need to use a pen or the end of a straightened paper clip to press the Power and Reset buttons. The Reset button does not restore the device to the factory default software settings.
