Element

Description

Name

A unique and human-readable name for the group.

Description

A brief description of the group and its purpose.

Add Range

IP address subnet ranges in which to find and autoregister DMPs.

The netmask typically is /24.

To find every DMP in a subnet, use 0 (zero) as the only digit in the fourth quad, such as 192.0.2.0/24.

To find one DMP whose address is already known to you, enter its IP address and the netmask but use a comma instead of the fourth dot, such as 192.0.2,50/24.

To find all of the DMPs in a narrow range of addresses, substitute a range for the fourth quad, such as 192.0.2.1-254.

The address range can span one subnet or multiple subnets.

Delete a Range

Deletes the range that you highlighted.

Range (CIDR)

The field where you edit one CIDR address range at a time.

Automatic Grouping

Shows a list of all the defined NMAP address ranges. Click a range to edit it.
