Procedures

Step 4 Validate the DMM group name.

Group names in DMM can include alphanumeric characters (0–9; a–z; A-Z), hyphens (-), underscores (_), and periods (.).

Spaces are forbidden.

Other forbidden characters include:

~‘!@#$%^&*()+={[}]\:;”"’'<>?/

Step 5 Click Update.

Before You Begin

Choose LDAP or SSO as your authentication method.

Define LDAP filters.

Define LDAP bookmarks.

Procedure

Step 1 Choose Administration > Security > Synchronize Users > Scheduling,

Step 2 Choose between manual synchronization and automatic synchronization.

You will not see any of the elements that Table 6-3 on page 6-34describes until after you define at least one

 

 

filter on the Define Filter property sheet.
