Chapter 2 Installing the Sun Solaris 10 Operating System
Loading the Sun Solaris 10 Operating Environment
The selected base directory </opt/sun_install> must exist before
installation is attempted.
Do you want this directory created now [y,n,?,q]
Step 3 Answer y and press Enter to create the directory.
Text similar to the following is displayed:
Using </opt/sun_install> as the package base directory.

1 package pathname is already properly installed.
## Verifying disk space requirements.

The following files are already installed on the system and are being
used by another package:
* /opt/sun_install <attribute change only>
* - conflict with a file which does not belong to any package.

Step 4 Answer y and press Enter to install the files.
Text similar to the following is displayed:

permission during the process of installing this package.

Step 5 Type y and press Enter to continue the installation.

Step 7 Run the first script. Enter the following command:
./install_BAMS_archive.sh
