Installing a Floppy Drive and Reattaching Cables

Small Form-Factor Computer

1Snap the replacement floppy drive into the sled and ensure that it is secure in the sled.

2Gently slide the floppy drive into the computer until the tabs securely click into position.

3Connect the interposer board to the floppy drive.

4Attach the power cable to the interposer board on the floppy drive.

5Connect the strip cable to the DSKT connector on the system board.

6Check all cable connections, and fold cables out of the way to provide airflow for the fan and cooling vents.

7Close the computer cover, reconnect your computer and devices to their electrical outlets, and turn them on.
