The front panel lights show you the status of the DIVA LAN ISDN Modem.

Orange | Indicates a phone call. |

Flashing | An incoming or outgoing call is being established on the |
Steady | A call is connected and the channel is in use. |
D
Indicates the status of the ISDN D-channel.
State | Description |
Off | The ISDN physical interface is not active. The LINK light may provide additional information. |
Flashing | Indicates that the ISDN physical interface is initializing. Flashing stops when initialization is |
| complete. Continuous flashing indicates an error in the initialization process (usually due to |
| incorrectly entered SPIDs). Data transmission may not be possible on the D- or |
| problem is resolved. The console port can be used to further diagnose the problem. |
| If you are using AO/DI, continuous flashing indicates that the DIVA LAN ISDN Modem cannot |

Steady | The ISDN physical interface has been initialized and is ready to place or receive calls on the D- and |

Indicates the status of the ISDN physical interface.
State | Description | |
Off | The ISDN physical interface is not synchronized, or is improperly connected. Check your ISDN | |

Flashing | The ISDN physical interface is synchronizing. Continuous flashing indicates a problem with the | |
| ISDN line: | |
| • | Make sure that the line is plugged in and that you are using the correct interface (S/T or U). |
| • | Check your termination requirements. See “Termination” on page 161. |
Steady | The ISDN physical interface is active. Lights D, B1, and B2 may provide additional status | |
| information. |
