The Radar Configuration Tool (RCT) is a user-friendly software tool that allows you to configure the 3300 transmitter. You can choose either of the following two methods to configure a 3300 transmitter:

•Start the Wizard for a guided installation if you are un-familiar with the 3300 transmitter.

•Use the Setup function if you are already familiar with the configuration process or if you just want to change the current settings.

To install the Rosemount Configuration Tool:

1. Insert the installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.

2. If the installation program is not automatically started, from the windows Start Bar choose Run and type D:\6HWXS￿H[H where D is the CD-ROM

￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿;￿￿￿￿￿￿￿7￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿￿;￿￿8drive.

3. Follow the instructions on the screen. To start the RCT:

1. From the Start menu click Programs>RCT Tools>RCT.

To check the current COM port settings do the following:

1. Locate the HART Server icon in the lower right corner of the screen.

2. Double-click the HART Server icon.
