MAC_lock trap enable
Description: Enables the sending of MAC violation traps by either individual port or on all
ports of the module.
If the MAC lock trap is enabled on a port, the switch sends a trap when the
port receives a frame containing a source MAC address that is different from
the currently locked MAC address. This trap is sent only once. It is not sent
again until the trap has been reset by a link-state change, trap disable/enable
toggle, MAC authentication/unauthentication, or MAC locking
enable/disable. Traffic is not stopped when a violation occurs. Frames with
source MACs different from the currently “locked” MAC are discarded.
Syntax: MAC_lock trap enable [ port# | all ]
Options: port# – Number of the port that will have MAC lock trap enabled.
all – Enables MAC locking on all ports of the module.
Example: -> MAC_lock trap enable 3
-> MAC_lock trap enable all
